Role Overview
We're seeking a proactive Growth Associate specializing in SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) Sales to join our expanding team. As a key player in our growth strategy, you'll be responsible for driving Sidebrief's expansion by targeting and acquiring SME clients, as well as building and managing a network of sales agents. This role offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact the growth of small and medium businesses by simplifying their compliance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategies to identify, target, and acquire SME clients in Nigeria
- Build and manage a network of sales agents to expand Sidebrief's reach in acquiring SME clients
- Train, motivate, and oversee the performance of the sales agent network
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of SME leads through market research, networking, and digital marketing initiatives
- Conduct product demonstrations and consultative sales calls to understand SME needs and compliance challenges
- Create and deliver tailored proposals and solutions for SME clients
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with SME decision-makers
- Collaborate with the product team to ensure Sidebrief's solutions meet SME requirements
- Provide feedback on SME client needs to drive product development and improvements
- Manage a high volume of leads and opportunities effectively
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform Sidebrief's SME growth strategy
- Represent Sidebrief at relevant industry events, webinars, and speaking engagements

Requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in SMEs sales
- Proven track record of building and managing sales teams or agent networks
- Experience in developing and implementing SME-focused sales strategies
- Strong understanding of SME sales cycles and account management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Nigerian business environment and SME challenges
