Role Overview
We're seeking a creative and strategic Content Manager to join our team in Nigeria. As the Content Manager, you'll be responsible for developing and executing Sidebrief's content strategy, creating compelling content that educates and engages our target audience of Nigerian entrepreneurs and business owners. This role is crucial in establishing Sidebrief as a thought leader in business compliance and driving user acquisition and engagement across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy aligned with Sidebrief's business goals in Nigeria
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats (blog posts, articles, whitepapers, videos, infographics, social media posts) tailored to the Nigerian market
  • Manage the content calendar and ensure timely delivery of all content
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to produce accurate and informative content on business compliance topics relevant to Nigeria
  • Optimize content for SEO and lead generation
  • Manage and grow Sidebrief's social media presence in Nigeria
  • Analyze content performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Stay up-to-date with Nigerian business regulations, trends, and news to inform content creation
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to align content with campaign objectives
  • Ensure brand consistency across all content
  • Manage relationships with freelance writers, designers, and other content creators as needed

Requirements

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in content management or content marketing, preferably in the Nigerian tech or financial services sector
  • Proven track record of creating successful content strategies and campaigns
  • Excellent writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in major Nigerian languages is a plus
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices
  • Experience with content management systems and social media platforms
  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights)
  • Basic understanding of Nigerian business regulations and compliance requirements
